TRC Membership
Become a member of the Tasmanian Racing Club and enjoy the excellent facilities at Tattersall’s Park, one of Australia’s most picturesque racecourses.
The Club conducts approximately 29 race meetings per year,
including the AAMI Hobart Cup and the Cadbury Tasmanian Derby.
Members can view the races while dining in the elevated luxury of the Terrace View Restaurant, overlooking the course and winning post.
Enjoy a three-course luncheon, fine wines and great service. Each table has a television monitor showing SKY Channel and TOTE odds and there are TOTE facilities and a Bookmaker in the Members’ Enclosure.
Members can bring along family or friends to the Club’s race meetings by purchasing day or additional annual guest badges.
Membership is open to all persons over the age of 18 years, in accordance with the rules of the Tasmanian Racing Club.
All Members have the right to nominate friends and relatives for Membership of the Club. Club Members are entitled to exercise voting rights in elections for Committee of the Club and on matters pertaining to Annual and General Meetings of Members.
Membership of the Tasmanian Racing Club entitles a Member to one Membership badge and one guest badge annually.
Member Parking
On normal racedays the Leger offers convenient parking for members' cars.

Members Area Dress Requirements
On any SUNDAY Race Meeting gentlemen entering the Member's Reserve must wear a shirt with collar attached. This means a neat casual shirt, not a golf or polo top suitable for a barbeque.
A jacket and tie are required on all NON SUNDAY Racedays.
Pullovers, cardigans, parkas, duffle coats, sleeved and unsleeved polar fleece tops, denim jeans, shorts, sporting footwear or thongs are not permitted at any time.
Socks must be worn at all times.
The Committee of the Tasmanian Racing Club reserves the right to refuse admittance to the Members Reserve to any person who they consider is not neatly attired.
Reciprocal rights
The Tasmanian Racing Club has negotiated reciprocal privileges for Members with a number in interstate and intrastate Clubs. Members attending a race meeting at a reciprocal club are required to pay the gate entry fee and can then use their TRC Membership badge at the enquiry office to obtain a Members Pass.
It is not incumbent upon the reciprocating Club to extend this privilege to anyone accompanying a Member. However, most clubs will offer a Members Pass to a Member's Partner. Some Clubs provide the opportunity to purchase additional tickets for guests.
Members should note most Clubs impose special conditions on feature meeting days.
The Club is pleased to assist members travelling interstate or overseas with letters of introduction to Clubs currently without specific reciprocal arrangements.
